Osteria Delbianco
Today, I visited a restaurant called Osteria Delbianco, located in Midtown New York. This Italian restaurant features various classical Italian cuisine.
As an appetizer, I ordered Carpaccio di Manzo, thinly raw filet mignon with Parmigiano and arugula. The deep, rich flavor of olive oil and fresh filet mignon gave it a nutty flavor, and the arugula gave the dish a crunchy texture.
The pasta I ordered is Tagliatelle al Ragu. Because they boil bolognese sauce for at least three hours, the bolognese sauce gave off a deep beefy flavor from the minced meat The tomato’s acidity from the sauce harmonized perfectly with the minced beef, well-balancing the flavor of the sauce. The tagliatelle's texture and wide surface allowed it to hold onto the thick, meaty sauce better, distributing the flavors evenly across each bite.
As a desset, I ordered cheesecake. The cheesecake was not particulary special, but it was well-balance dessert: Creamy but not too sweet cheesecake and strawberry provided a joyful acidity.
Final Thoughts
The vibe of the restaurant was very warm with friendly employees.
All foods were well-balanced, and the price was reasonable
I will recommend this place for everything from casual dinner to romantic date nights.
